My Story

I did not set out to become a coach. I set out to understand people.

The pattern I could not unsee

Across years of walking alongside women and families, one pattern kept surfacing: the strongest women were often the quietest about their own needs. They showed up for everyone — marriages, kids, careers, churches — and somewhere in the middle of it all, they disappeared.

The turn

The Primal Question Framework gave language to what I had been sensing for years. Every woman carries a question that formed early and quietly shapes how she loves, reacts and sees herself. When you finally name it, the pattern loses its grip. I became a Certified Primal Question Coach because I wanted to walk women through that moment.

Where I am now

Today I coach, I co-host the Feathered in Grace & Armor podcast with my husband Chadd, and I keep doing the same work in my own life I ask of my clients. I do not have it all figured out — I just know the way forward, because I have walked it.

Background in social work with women and families

Why coaching — and why this approach

I believe that coaching is not therapy, counseling, medical care or a substitute for licensed mental health treatment. It is, however, a powerful process for women who are ready to recognize the patterns quietly controlling their lives and take empowered action toward the person they were created to become.

My coaching philosophy balances grace for where you have been with courage for where you are going. I create a space where emotional safety is real — where you can be honest about your struggles without shame, and where practical tools meet genuine faith.

Self-leadership is at the heart of my work. Your past may explain your patterns, but it does not have to determine your future. Clarity begins when you understand the question beneath the struggle.

Six quick questions

Coffee or tea?

Coffee, no contest — non-dairy vanilla coconut milk cream, no sugar. It is less a drink than a ritual that starts every morning slow.

How do you rest?

Quiet mornings, long walks, and being home with Chadd. Rest used to be the first thing I cut — now I guard it.

What do you love most about the podcast?

The honesty. Chadd and I do not curate the hard parts. The best episodes are the ones where we say the thing people are afraid to say out loud.

What surprises people about coaching with you?

How fast clarity comes. Not because I have all the answers — but because once the right question is named, women already know more than they realized.

A belief you hold onto?

You are not behind. You are becoming. I say it to clients and I have to remind myself of it too.

Who are you outside of work?

A woman still learning the very things I coach on: boundaries, voice, and taking up space.

Ready to start the conversation?

You are not starting over. You are becoming. Sometimes the first brave step is simply reaching out.

Note: Coaching is not therapy, counseling, medical care or a substitute for licensed mental health treatment. Gina does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
