About Me

My educational background is in Social Work. I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University with a concentration in school social work.  I spent most of my career in schools working with administrators, teachers, students and families providing support services in the way of counseling, advocating, case management, program development and implementation.

As unexpected and unconventional as it may seem, I simultaneously owned and operated a clothing boutique, The Gypsy Chicks Boutique, because yes, I have a creative and unique side and style. However, I also wanted to provide women from all sizes, shapes, economic and social backgrounds to be able to shop in a space and energy without pretension and with the affordability to be able to feel and look their best. It was a beautiful way to merge fashion with the empowerment of women who felt stuck, lost or needed healing.

After extensive life changes and all that comes with that I took a year and six months to find and regain my identity. I too sought the expertise of a therapist, a counselor and a coach. It was the BEST decision of my life!

My journey took me to a new city where I provided counseling to clients within the private practice sector. This experience helped me to hone in on my skills and to find that working with women is my true passion. I would love to walk alongside you on your path to unlocking all that holds you back from living your BEST life!

Besides the role of a seasoned counselor and coach, with all kinds of life experience, my most treasured roles are as a wife, mother and now Gigi (grandmother) to both human and fur grands!
